How our Cashew Feni is made
Only sunripened cashew fruits are collected to ensure high quality of the final product
The Cashew seeds are removed before the cashew apple is crushed for juice extraction
Wild fermentation with naturally occurring yeasts lends the spirit it’s unique aroma
Our spirits are hand distilled using traditional copper pot stills
Our fenis are matured for at least six months before bottling
Every bottle is checked and labelled by hand before shipping

Witness the fascinating journey of the Cashew from Farm to Bottle. We take you through the process starting with harvesting of ripe fruits, to de-seeding and stomping of the fruits, followed by distillation. Added treat: a specially curated meal centered around the cashew apple. Available from March to May each year.

OURO is a christmassy expression of our exceptional cashew feni, which is enhanced with local herbs and spices and matured for at least six months. It’s a 100% natural product, made without the use of Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) or artificial colorings. This ensures a pure and authentic experience, highlighting the natural character of the spirit.

Meet us at Dudhsagar Plantation, the home of OURO
Find us in the eastern parts of Goa, about an hour’s drive from South Goa’s famed coastline, or about one hour fifteen from Panjim. We are located at the foothills of the highly biodiverse Western Ghats, on the fringe of Mollem National Park/Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. Popular sights in the area are Dudhsagar Waterfalls, the Tambdi Surla Mahavir Temple and a prehistoric Rock Carving site.
